          Ken Norton and Henry Cooper.

No, not for the reasons you're going to think.

I've always loved the characters of boxing. Guys like Two Ton Tony and Max Baer, Oscar Bonavena, Tex Cobb, Ricardo Mayorga and so on. I also have a soft spot for the good guys in boxing, guys like Earnie Shavers, whom I've met in real life and who was a total gent. Then of course there are the no holds barred balls to the wall guys like Gatti, Ward, Corrales, Valero, Katsidis, and so on. Just too many to list really. I like boxers for a whole number of different reasons, very rarely related to talent or success.

Freddie Pendleton (circa 1993 met him on vacation in Key West, gave me some cool autographed things when I was like 10, of course he instantly became my favorite boxer)
