I don't think Basilio is a super technical puncher, he just knows how to get it done on the inside. And he has faster hands than Margarito. That's what I think carries him.

Basilio and easy, well not easy but he'd win with plenty left in the tank. Carmen is All round better, he's a better boxer, better fighter, tougher guy even and better man.

Okay I would agree with that. Margarito is no scientist on the inside either. Tbh he's much simplier then Basilio in comparison. And plus Basilio actually knew how to block shots and be a little defensive when needed. Technically, even Basilio is better then marg.

It can't be ignored that Basilio did much better at top level then margarito ever did. That shows the worth of Basilio

          so idk.
Margarito may be bigger but I think you are right, Basilio is in a total different class, no way I see Margarito lasting 15 rds with Sugar in fact no promoter would give Margarito evan a shot at Basilio unless there is no one else. Margarito has some good points, he can mix it.

Basilio is leagues better than a below average infighter in Margarito on the inside.

Would be exciting, but Basilio would beat the hell out of him. I do think a stoppage would be possible.

You didn't see much of Basilio then, he knock out De Marco twice. I'm sorry, YOU MUSN'T HAVE SEEN THOSE STOPPAGES,.....This is what the dominant colour on Margarito's face,,,,,, i.e. BLEEDING,..and they'd be peelin' him off the floor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The way to beat a taller fighter is fight him inside, and basilio was a master at that.

I think basilio would've broke margs down, but basilio would take some licks no doubt.

                    basillio moved his head
                    and margarito doesn't

basillio UD 15 in a very fun fight.

                    different class of WW entirely

tony's size and chin would keep him upright
and basillio wasn't a huge puncher
