    Holyfields 44-10 great fighter

Emanual Burton 34-32(i think) but he is a solid pro with good defensive skills.

Ezzard Charles suffered a horrendous amount of losses late in his career when he was ill.
Lew Jenkins record isn't great nor is Beau Jack's

Emille Griffith, Kid Gavilan... Lot of fighters go on too long and become a name on an average fighters record.

Some of Langford's losses and draws you have to take with a pinch of salt. You have to bear in mind that to get the fight Langford probably had to agree that short of being carried out of the ring in a coma his opponent was going to get the nod.
