Yeah, DarkTerror is spot on about the difference of competition levels, Tony fought in a great era of talent, some guys no where near the top ten in their div's would have been highly regarded now, I love the old school who had more fights than these guys today have rounds and they were in such great condition, they often fought 20 bouts or more in ONE year. But I do also believe that Pacquiao is THE best fighter I've seen since Leonard, he is one out of the box, i'd prefer they had a 5 fight series instead of a single bout, wouldn't you ?

Pacquaio is a great fighter no question and argubaly the greatest fghter since Sugar Ray Leonard and I also agree that a 5 fight series would be better because I believe Pacquaio could most definitely beat Tony across 5 fights but I don't think he could get the better of Tony over 5.

Tony was a special fighter and is definitely are greater fighter than Pacquaio IMO and in a single fight I would definitely heavily lean on him where they to only fight once.

Yeah I can't understand how anybody can dislike Pacman, if they hate him they are biased and I think Canzoneri would win in a one off bout and I believe that Saddler would too (biggest Feather ever ?). Having said this I think if Manny grew up in Canzoneri's era I think Pacman has that sort of ability that would make him probably in the top 2 G.O.A.T's of all time, imagine him coming out of Philly with 200 fights under his belt,.... scary.
