the name sounds familiar of your bud
but that's just a boxing name haha so i'm can be sure i've heard of him or seen any of his fighters

he isn't based up here anymore is he??

    now, on to your fighter
i'd bet my house that he's a converted southpaw (right hander fighting lefty)

he's a huge puncher with his lead hand and a has a solid left hand
he dropped his opponent viciously in the first with a counter right hand that was just monster

he looks like he's ver experienced from the amateurs and tough and strong, but he barely moves his head
he took some punches he clearly didn't need to take

he covers up ineffectively and doesn't really punch back when he's shelled

offensively, though, he's a very talented young man.
he also showed a pretty good beard, too, because he did take some punches and they didn't have much of an effect.

hard jab too. really hard. i was shocked at the sound it made when he was warming up, and thats when i knew almost for certain that he was a right hander fighting lefty

    he needs lots of time
and i was actually expecting a more complete package for a guy with almost 20 fights and 150 + in the ams

but he's talented and was in a very exciting fight for television. he dropped his guy with different offense each time as well, which was very impressive for such a young pro

in fact, that whole card was awesome.
Im pretty sure Paul is down in Florida now, but not 100%.

I appreciate the breakdown of the fight and will see if I can find out if this kid is a converted southpaw or not. Looking at his competition it seems he's being brought along at the right pace for someone with 15 fights. Did they get into his amateur background last night or just mention how many fights he had there?

Me too Jab, had to work late last night and forgot to set the DVR. I was pissed cause I never forget when the fights end up being boring, but came home last night and caught the last 20 minutes and saw them showing clips of all the knock outs in the bouts. They said "The most exciting FNF in a long time."

Just my luck. I think the only place to watch a re-play is on ESPN3, and I can't get it where I live.

      How you doin Jab?

Wasn't the headline fight cancelled on this card? Thought I read that in
NSB and posters were complaining how BAD the card was going to be. Just goes to show you can never tell in this sport.

Im doing pretty good Lorily, how you been?
