A thread on the Non Stop boxing forum deriding the chin of British fighters got my thinking, who has the best chin in boxing history?
I'm putting forward the name of Welsh legend Tommy Farr for consideration. His war with Joe Louis for the Heavyweight World Championship at the Yankee Stadium in 1937 was the best example of his durability as he slugged it out with one of the all-day great boxers for 15 tough rounds. He also went the distance with 2 other heavyweight hall-of-famers, Max Baer and Jim Braddock. He lost 5 times by knock-out, but never at his peak.
As non-partisan suggestions I'll nominate Jake La Motta, Marvin Hagler and Evander Holyfield.
