The 168lb version of Jones...sigh. I could see Benn exiting in the first three rounds after throwing a wild right and getting countered by powerful, short hook he never saw coming. Looking back at the Eubank, Logan and Malinga fights I doubt very much Benn stood a chance. Liles' style would've given Jones hell, like it did in the amateurs. Collins? Next.
Sometimes I Wonder Why Did Roy Ever Waste His Time Fighting Fighters Like.....

I still cant believe the way Nunn let his career get derailed the way it did. I think Joe Goosen is still cut up about it to this day
Liles really should of been much more active than he was 7 defenses in 5 years? Even the Pride of Wales was more active than thatComment

Why didnt Roy give Hopkins 50-50 back in 2002? Instead of 60-40? Hopkins deserved 50-50 imo, he was considered #1 P4P at that time and had just beat Trinidad.
But Roy wound't budge on 60-40 in favour of him. Damn shame that fight never got made back in 2002Comment

He would of had to drop a weight class (smw) to make the fight happen
He had already beaten Hopkins.
It was Hopkins that killed that fight. According to Hauser, Hopkins walked away from around a 4M payday. HBO said that Hopkins number was too high and King said Hopkins was like a guy who after winning the lottery waited for his ticket to expire, before deciding to cash it inLast edited by Toney616; 06-26-2011, 11:14 AM.Comment

I dont think Hopkins really wanted to face Jones back then, dude was waiting for Jones to slip a bit before fighting him
off topic:
Roy, Clay and Nunn have to be three of the most physically gifted fighters I have ever seen.Comment
