Sonny Liston, Larry Holmes, Joe Louis, Thomas Hearns, Pinklon Thomas all come to mind.

Joe Louis's jab is said to have been powerful as hell.

Thomas had a hell of a jab. To bad he wasted his career on blow

Very underrated jab. Pinklon had one of the best heavyweight jabs ever.

I think that fight was the first I had ever seen of Vitali on TV. They showed highlights of it on HBO. Hide was legitimately hurt from a jab and it showed on his face.

I was definitely thinking that too.
DLH had a good one also. I tend to think Holmes had the most effective power jab of them all. Wlad is right up there.
