Is that why he got beat down by MILLETT? A guy Gatti knocked out in 4. Ok, he was dangerous and certainly gave Quartey problems, but he was far from invincible. I think Tszyu would def beat him in the rematch. Show the man some respect!

So explain to me why Tszyu didn't try to win the title back from the man who beat him? There is a major time gap that you're (conveniently) ignoring. He won an interim title and just waited for Phillips to fade from the scene.

Phillips didn't lose to Millet for almost two years and four title defenses later. If Tszyu wanted that rematch it would have happened. Nobody ever heard KT call out for Phillips either.

KT didn't call for an immediate rematch, that's for sure and indisputable. but i remember that when sharmba and vince fought about 5 years after VP ko'd zoo, that fight was known to be an eliminator type fight with the Zoo set to face the winner. after sharmba got tko'd cuz of the knee (allegedly)
