I would recommend the Roger Mayweather fight personally as it shows his full body of work and even his recuparitive powers and composure.

I also think the ref gets punched can't remember.

He did. It was a pretty hard shot too. Whitaker went in that fight with the intent to hurt Mayweather. It was clear from the start when he nearly stopped Mayweather in the first round. Before the official fight Mayweather got in Whitaker's face with trash talk during the pre fight exams and Whitaker punched him. That was one of my favorite Whitaker fights.
