For one, it can be impossible to find every single fight of say, pernell whitaker's career online for download and two if I don't want to spend hours and hours searching, downloading and burning to discs it's a quick alternative.

If you're looking for a single fight or a couple fights, or the latest big show, yeah I agree download away, but for people collecting fights, especially in bulk buying/trading physical DVDs is a good option.

On top of that, there are people out there that don't really know how or where to download fights and how to convert the media to DVD format, etc. (btw it's illegal to download fights so don't be hypocritical)

And btw I'm not making any profit when people buy from me it covers my time and shipping. I'm just a boxing fan with a somewhat decent collection that's trying to expand it.

I've also had fighters actually contact me for copies of certain fights to prepare for sparring, which I think is really cool.

I actually hate downloading fights. Can't stand all the hassel, parts etc.

I only have like a couple hundred downloaded fights.

All the rest are either videotaped live on VHS or brought DVD's.

I only DL if I can't get hold of the fight on DVD or so I can get better quality than old taped VHS tapes.

fair enough... I was just asking because I know a couple of sites that got screwed for selling career sets. Yeah I know its illegal to DL also but I think its much more risky putting up a site. So are your career sets vhs transfers? because I know some sites just DL fights and put them on dvd.
