Watching the Barrera/McKinney fight got me to thinking that my favourite kind of fight is where some rude loudmouth is made to eat his words. What are the best examples of this through the years? I'd like to see more.

Ali/Frazier I
Judah/Tszyu
Pacquiao/Hatton (well technically Mayweather Sr. did all the mouthing but got silenced afterwards)
Every Mayorga fight where he gets KOd (Trinidad, Hoya, Mosley, Cotto)

I remember 'Pee Wee" Parker talking alot of mess and insulting Tracy Harris Patterson and saying "without the Patterson you've only got Tracy Harris"-- and then Patterson whupped his a*s. Talking is ok to sell a fight but when you get personal like that idiot or like Mayorga did towards Tito by insulting his father then it's not OK and deserving of an ol' fashioned project beat down!

Nothing better than that.

Ali talking to Fraizer like he's nothing, overwhelming arrogance. For Fraizer to put it on him (Ali sure didn't go down without a fight though) was just great.

That KD, sheer beauty.

Ali aying something onlong the lines of; "There is no chance he beats me" "If Joe Fraizer beats me I will bow to him and call him the greatest"

Quite frustrating he actually didn't do that, to any extent. Infact, he did quite the opposite.

Especially all the 'Uncle Tom' ****. I mean, grow up.

But yeah that's the best one, for me.

How'd he shut him up? He should have lost. That fight was close as *****. If anything it made him talk more.

Khan getting trashed by Prescott. Or Kessler vs Froch. Froch has been a lot more respectable since that fight.
