I'm still very interested in seeing your scorecard.
Anyway,after watching the fight again you see that Norton didn't win the fight "clearly" as you posted earliar.
Have a good one.....

Ali made a tactical mistake in his second fight with Norton, but he showed trendemous heart to pull off a 7-5 type of win in the last round. Ali was in shape, but not in great enough shape to dance 3 minutes of every round (never was in the 70's) which is what he was doing in the early rounds, rounds that he did clearly win. Ali expended too much energy which allowed Norton to win most of the late rounds as Ali struggled to put up an effort aside from round 12 which was sheer heart on Ali's part. Credit to Norton though as he waited patiently for his opportunities and put on steady pressure at all times.
Norton was always a spoiler to Ali, but he did himself have problems dealing with the fast feet and hands of Ali. It's only when Ali tired that he could truly put Futch's plans to use, by countering the jab and cutting off the ring. A peak conditioned Ali would be a different proposition to the 220+ lb figure he faced in the first and third fights.

The second fight was very close in points.
On the cards, it could have been a draw or 115-113 for Ali.
With that said, when the fight ended, I had the feeling, putting the scorecards aside, that Norton had won the fight in the sense that
- he landed the better blows for much of the fight;
- he hurt Ali on several occasions, to the head and to the body;
- he was winning his rounds more decisively than Ali was.
That's how I see it. The first and the third fights usually don't produce much disagreement.

Heres my card, I've scored it in modern 10 point AND the round by round of the actual fight. Ali first on alphabetical:
1 10-9 Ali lands plenty. Kenny barely lands on the dancing man. Norton holds ring centre but gets pushed around plenty too. ALI.
2 20-18 Ali still jabbing and dancing away. Norton posts a good left here but ali is still bossing. ALI
3 30-27 Closer round as Norton raises his game but Ali is dancing, jabbing and when Norton moves inside he lands a sweet uppercut that shakes Kenny. ALI
4 40-36 Closest round so far but try as Kenny does Ali is still landing more jabs and controlling the ring better than him. ALI
5 50-46 This ones a draw, great combos from both.
6 59-56 Norton bosses this riund despite taking a good few jabs from ali and getting shook he recovers and comes back to finish well. Norton.
7 68-66 Serious punishment dished out by Norton. N
8 78-76 Ali gets hurt but he dances and recovers well jabbinng away despite a poor finish. A draw.
9 87-86 Norton works over a fading Ali to barely a reply except the occasional jab and two combos. Norton.
10 97-95 Ali boxes classically against an obviously cruising Norton. Taking the round with consumate skill. Ali.
11 106-105 Norton pumps the juice he saved up in the last round, cuts off the ring and pounds Ali with combos. Ali responds with barely a dozen punches. Norton.
12 116-114 Ali takes charge of a flaming Norton with a classic final round. Dances Kenny around the ring. Ali
Ali wins 6-4-2
