Manny Pacquiao at featherweight and super-featherweight used to pack on some serious pounds.

Jose Luis Castillo took really big advantage of the weigh-in system.

Kronk fighters took advantage of the previous day weigh in for awhile. Gerald McClellan would weight nearly 180 for middleweight title fights. Wisely they backed off after the Benn fight. It could be very dangerous drying out to make a weight you really don't belong at. Probably the best argument for same day weigh ins.

I remember Jorge Arce weighing 130 when he defended his 112 lb title.

He's fit into those higher weight classes quite well.

i've heard rumors of mma guys weighing in at 171 and then blowing up to well over 200
                  now that's crazy!

you can see why there arent many good chins in mma if they're making that a habit.

All reasons boxing should go back to same day weigh ins and preserve the integrity of weight classes.
