    Neither of them look very athletic, and they dont look super skilled either.


    same fighters.
    whole different story.

    you can see the muscle definition in their backs, arms, shoulders and legs. and their head movement and subtle skills are MUCH more pronounced.
    especially in Basilio. look at how powerful his back is.

    Guarantee people would consider Vitali Klitschko no better than Jess Willard if we were viewing him through a hand-cranked film.

              Amazing footage! There are some 1940's videos that are of better quality than the smudgey 1990's. Lennox Lewis vs Tyrell biggs looks like it was filmed from a submarine.

                I've been saying for a very long time that old film is very misleading. Many fans today either underrate the old timers or overrate todays fighters because the simply don't understand the nuances of the sport or the effect of film. The Klitschko video is a great example of how different thing can and are perceived.

                  haha, very true, the 90s fight footage was horrible, unless someone uploaded it in hd.
