Vitalis never KO'ed anyone particularly tough or good, he has a very high KO ratio over poor opposition and he also failed to stop a shot pretender in Briggs.
Honourable mentions in a sense that their power makes up for what they lack in skill.. Both have good ko percentages.

So when it comes to trading shots I can't say "Forman would knock out Marciano" because there is no evidance of Marciano being knocked out.
      This is totally true.

if you're talking about exchanges you're going to want guys who can either time shots superbly or simply have faster hands as well

you dont want to get into exchanges with a faster guy
              unless you got that timing
              which is the rarer gift

pacquiao had a great combination of speed and power and the chin at 126 and 130. i remember plenty of instances of him making people pay for exchanging with him, even if he was open to be hit in those days and still largely a one handed animal

marvin hagler comes to mind as well, as he worked in the subleties to make up for what wasnt ATG handspeed compared to his ATG chin and ample punching power

              duran as a lightweight
              he would kill you
              nuff said on that account.

ray leonard would mix in hard shots
had a great chin for a speedy man
and his handspeed was second to none
bad guy to get in an exchange with, but it might be your only chance as well beacuse of the depth of his skillset as a boxer
tough spot to be in, and that's why he's a historic p4p contender

monzon comes to mind as well
              power
              chin
              timing

but he wouldnt exchange w/ the great bennie briscoe
              heavier hands
              as sturdy a beard

                My 2 are...

                Marvin Hagler
Roberto Duran (unless it's a Hearns overhand right)

I'm not saying he had a weak chin but in this conversation I don't think Duran deserves a mention.

Still, it is not easy to imagine anyone truly going shot-for-shot, at point-blank range, & surviving. Foreman had a battle-tested jaw & absolutely ungodly power in both his left & his right hand.
Ron Lyle almost knocked Foreman out even by playing his game. He even had Foreman backing up at one point trying to bounce and box from a distance. I've never seen anyone ever do that to Foreman. Especially the latter.

If an old, fat, bloated version can hang 15 rounds with a prime Hagler, I'm not sure how anyone could call his chin weak.

The first guys that come to mind for me are Tyson, Marciano, Tua, Abraham, Foreman, Robinson, Holyfield, DLH, Chavez and yes Duran.
