The 80's was a rough time for some talented fighters in the HW divison

Who was the best, worst ect of the following fighters?

    Tim Witherspoon
    Greg Page

    Tony Tucker

in terms of wasted talent, Witherspoon is at the top, with Tubbs right behind him.

dont know too much about Page.

While Witherspoon probably could have done more to ensure a better career I think it was more wasted by Don King than by actions of his own. David Tua lost vital time in the late 90's, early 2000's because of managerial problems, but he wasn't blackballed the way Spoon was.

Michael Dokes belongs on that list. He had as much talent as any of them.

For me Witherspoon definately deserves ton top spot. Then Page and Tucker followed by Tubbs closely. I rate Tubbs last in spite of the fact he could beat Tucker(probably) and Page behind them because he seemed lazy in his approach to boxing and training and has the lesser resume IMO.

in terms of accomplishments i go with witherspoon cause he beat page, tubbs, and i thought he deserved the nod versus larry holmes. Hand speed i go with tubbs, with page a close second. Power I think its close between witherspoon and page. foot speed i go with page. defense its close between witherspoon and tubbs
