I disagree that Mike wouldnt win mid range, i think he gets inside the Liston jab and lets his bombs fly, Sonny tries the same but Tyson's speed advantage wins the day. There's not a whole lot in it power and chin wise however u like it but Mike has the big speed edge and is a better combination puncher, mid range is Tyson turf.

I DO agree tho that Mike would be ineffective inside. I do not have a clue why he didnt let his shots go inside often, he had the pefrect frame/arms for in fighting and got devasting power on his short punches but he rarely let his hands go inside, his inside game is nearly non exsistant and i cant figure out why! If he had learned or applied a good inside game he'd be an even more effective fighter

Prime Liston knocks Tyson's head off in 3 rounds. I'll give Tyson two more rounds than Patterson just because Tyson had a better chin. Swarming against Sonny Liston is suicidal- Liston hit harder than Foreman and had a better jab in my opinion.
