        Oscar Ike
        1. 10 9
        2. 9 10
        3. 10 9
        4. 10 9
        5. 9 10
        6. 8 9
        7. 9 10
        8. 9 10
        9. 9 10
        10. 10 9

TOTALS: 113-112 - WINNER: OSCAR DE LA HOYA

BTW what a crappy fight! Other than R6 & R12....

Very disappointed, i remembered it being alot better than that

Again loads of uneventful close rounds that could have been scored either way giving either guy the victory, NO ROBBERY

          BARRERA vs MORALES 3

          R1. 10-9
          R2. 9-10
          R3. 10-9
          R4. 10-9
          R5. 10-9
          R6. 10-9
          R7. 9-10
          R8. 9-10
          R9. 9-10
          R10. 10-9
          R11. 9-10
          R12. 10-9

          TOTAL: 115-113 Barrera

Some very tough rounds to score there, 9 and 12 in particular and the fight could easily have been a draw despite HBO's Barrera cheerleading in that fight. A lot of Morales' work wasn't even acknowledged

I think the right man won though and thats what matters

These two firecrackers should have been Forced to ONLY Fight each other! They never failed to produce - great stuff, Great Fighters!

Barrera wins it by a point for me

I think the fight could have gone either way.

A lot of people these days consider it a clear cut Barrera win but like you said they were a lot of tough rounds in there and the fight is blatently close IMO. People thought it was much closer than they do now, at the time.

I actually thought a draw or either man winning would be fine watching live but when I re-scored it a few days later I actually scored it for Morales.

Although, Barrera winning is obviously fine. I've scored it for Barrera more than a few times too.

I think the Sky Sports Team had it a draw, going off memory.

              Arguello Vs. Ramirez

              1.10-10 – feel out round
2.10-10 – Probably Ramirez round if anything, although best punch of the round was from Arguello.
              3.10-9 Ramirez
              4.10-9 Arguello
              5.10-9 Ramirez
6.10-8 Ramiez – Argeullo was actually winning the round up to the knockdown
              7.10-9 – Arguello
              8.10-9 – Arguello
              9.10-9 – Arguello
              10.10-9 Ramirez

              Ramirez 96

              Arguello - 95

Close fight, but in all honesty, Ramirez deserved the victory.

Rounds 7,8 and 9 very close rounds but I gave Arguello the benefit of the doubt in all of them for cleaner punching. So, any of those rounds would make it more decisive for Ramirez if you judged the other way, which would be fair judging if you did.

On the other hand, the Knockdown had a big impact considered had it not happened, it would have been 10-9 Arguello and not 10-8 Ramirez.

But, considering even I had the fight scored for Ramirez, it's fair to say he probably deserved the victory there.

Glad to hear that, the way HBO were talking i thought my card was gonna get destroyed here! Each man had a case but i liked Barrera's work better, at least last night anyway! Fights that are genuinely that close though man u cant argue too much either way and i might even have a different card next time I score it!

Your spot on though, people look back on it as a clear cut win when it was far from that

A lot of people today consider it a clear Barrera victory.

I've never seen it that way and had plenty of debates over it

Totally agree on it being such a crap fight and it being overrated. It's like people remember the 6th and 12th and think it was great.

Definitely disagree on the winner.........Quartey got robbed IMO.

Neither guy really did anything all fight but Oscar just got outjabbed for just about all of the rounds. I scored that fight fairly wide for Quartey....Oscar literally did nothing for 10 rounds outside of trading knockdowns. Quartey didn't do too much more but he definitely did more than Oscar.

                    • Rocky Lockridge vs Tony Lopez
113-112 Lopez. Had the fight on the table going into the last round and Lopez gutted it out, for me.
