It was a nice touch. A very unwatchable fighter for mine, but I respect him as the most under-rated fighter of his generation.

I normaly don't enjoy watching defensive style boxers who do not initiate much offence, but I liked watching him fight. By no means a faviorite though.

He will definitely not get the credit he deserves historically (as he didn't during his pomp) which is never something you wish upon any fighter.

Watchable or not, Wright was a very, very good fighter.

Watchable or not, Wright was a very, very good fighter.

Definitely not my cup o tea either, and that was one guy whom I was very happy de la hoya never fought in the beginning of the decade when Oscar was leaps and bounds my favorite active fighter.

Dempsey used to go by Kid Blackie which probably sounded pretty cool at the time. Also, Mannassa Mauler sounds pretty cool.

"Kid" isn't used properly anymore either. It's meant only for Cuban fighters.

If I remember rightly, he spent pretty much the whole first round of the second Mosely grinning his face off lol.

He was always so laid back in the ring.
