    At their peaks...........

    McCallum B+
    Wright B
    Nunn A-
    Benn B
    Tyson A

McCallum had great skills but never caught me as a phenom, high quality fighter but not out of the ordinary. Wright had great speed, hands and defense but not the power. Nunn was the man for awhile. Great speed, combos and movement. While he did seem to lack power his exceptional boxing skills made up for that. Benn, tough cat when it came to brawling but lacked the pure boxing, great power. Tyson, when he was rolling nobody could touch him. Awsome power, good defense and incredible tenacity. That all changed after Robin and Rooney left the picture................Rockin'

McCallum was definitely at his peak at jmw, he lost power as he moved up the ranking. Solid all round skills

Ive never been too sure how to grade Wright. Solid defense but his offense wasn't much. The question is could you grade a fighter highly based on the fact that they are skilled in one department?

Nunn was the man early 90's. Great hand speed and foot speed, his ability to slip punches was a part of his defense, which is often overlooked

He could get out-boxed as he was against Watson and Malinga, but
doesn't his power alone put him above B level?

If power alone was the determining factor then John Mugabi would be rated an A-, I think he had better skills than Benn aswell. Some one like Nunn could make an akward fighter like Benn look real bad. I'm good with the B mark on Benn...............Rockin'

          lol
What is your definition of a grade B fighter? Do you see him as a world class contender or a fringe contender?

          off topic:
who is that in your avy?

Don't get me wrong, Benn was a top flight fighter. But when you put it to an all-time great scale I think he comes out a B.

That's me when I was 20 years old and about to turn pro, back in the day...........Rockin'

Dont really know too much about McCallum so I cant really comment

              Foreman - A/A+ cant decide
              Winky - A
              Nunn - A
              Benn - B
Tyson - A+ at his peak, but that didnt last too long.

True. He was never going to have a long career, even if everything had gone right for him.

I didn't fight pro very long, I saw the writing on the wall to say about the damage. I went jr.welter to jr. middle. Couldn't get fights and when we would agree to a date these cats were all backing out, so I took what I could get. I remember I was lined up with Rocky Martinez like 5 times, they always balked on me. I fought out of Jackie Kallens stable, got on tv a few times then just walked away. Long story there...........Rockin'
