Last night I watched most of the Berbick fight he looked good in the fight. Eventually I would like to watch these other fights if I can find them online I noticed that the McCall fight was there. And I will likely watch his losses eventually also but I could not find them to watch. Again I saw a lot of ability in the Berbick fight.

He was great in the McCall fight. Again, all these fights he fought as good as he did against Tyson. The myth of him having one amazing night of pure genius and never replicating it is such rubbish. He was always a good fighter, but he just had some major flaws that some were able to take advantage of and he also sometimes (rarely before Tyson, a lot of the time after) came in with less conditioning.

Leading up to Tyson he was having an especially good run and was fighting great. I think the McCall fight was just before Tyson or maybe a few fights fights before. Berbick was before Tyson too. All his best fights and fights in which he looked very good. Just like he did against Tyson.

Check 'em out. They're good.

He didn't keep in shape when he wasn't fighting. He had a bad eating disorder and lacked the desire and hunger to train properly.

Yeah I was aware of those things I remember hearing that he was in a coma at one point.

If I saw some performances from Lewis and the Kltischkos that I thought were better then Douglas against Tyson I would have them as better fighters. I think you would also.

By the way, since the idiot above me wants to go on and say "fighter A lost to fighter B, Fighter c beat fighter B so fighter c must be better" IS BULL****, Okay?? Bowe managed to beat Holyfield convincingly twice, but Lewis could get a draw and a decision that was very close. bare in mind the version that bowe fought would MOP THE FLOOR WITH LEWIS. hands down!!

lennox already knocked him out, its funny how you ignore that fact then you go on to talk about how you cant compare which guy beat what guy at which time. lewis knocked him out. he shredded the guys that bowe got whipped by. i back my opinion up with those fights, and the fact that like i said he already knocked him out. what more do you want.

We'll never know how good Bowe could have been. Ultimately though, Bowe proved he didn't have the discipline or mental fortitude to make himself an all-time great. Sports are littered with extreme talents that didn't have achievements to match their abilities, and they tend to attract a cult following who always say the same thing, 'on his day, in his prime, he could have beaten x'. The point is that we'll never know and it's far too easy to say something like that, safe in the knowledge that it can't be disproven. The fact is that Bowe was brilliant for a very short time, capturing the linear heavyweight title against an all-time great, before losing it back to him and then ultimately not achieving a great deal more. It's an insult to heavyweights who have achieved more than Bowe to simply dismiss them on a hunch based on Bowe's natural ability, especially considering his lack of other intangibles.

His inside game was as good as ive seen on a big man like that. I think Tyson and Lennox were both better tho.

I don't really look at things that way and I don't make lists. And I am not even that knowledgeable but I know what looks good to me. And at times Bowe impressed me more than anyone the last 20 years. Bowe beating Holyfield was a great moment in sports the same thing with Douglas beating Tyson. What are Wladimir's or Vitali's great moments?

YEah Ike Was a great talent too dude beat Tua & Byrd.
He was a wasted talent though like Rid**** Bowe because we never got see what they could of been.

As for Rid**** He got old before he got Old.........
