UHHH spoken like a guy who types about boxing all day and doesnt actually fight or hit bags or mitts
huge sale
fire sale, actially
larger men throw harder punches as the general rule
largerr men take better punches as the general rule
you dont even need to box to understand what i'm talking about (though it helps)
go punch the biggest guy in the bar
then the smallest
and compare the damage
then take the best shot of the biggest guy in the bar
and then the smallest
and compare the damage
go around to a bunch of bars and compare your results and you'll actually be doing research instead of just spitting purple nonsense over a computer
truely exceptional athletes can posess tremendous punching power that can bend these rules (smaller guys punching harder than outright larger guys)
but they are not the standard
if you dont think bigger men throw and take better punches you dont have A CLUE what you are talking about
why the **** does our sport have weigth classes?
Why don't two of the biggest boxers in history in Wladimir and Lewis have the best chins in history?
Why didn't Valuve simply punch Holyfields head into orbit?
Why have their been so few good heavyweights over 250 pounds?Comment

Let us agree to disagree mate. I regard FP as an ATG, he had silky skills and achieved quite a bit.Comment

I think Patterson could've been an ATG LHW and an argument can be made that he was an (maybe top 100) ATG for what he achieved at HW in spite of his diminutive size. But I wouldn't classify him as an ATG HW, though perhaps an argument can be made for him cracking a top 20 ATG HW list.Comment
