got 20/1 on Froch winning a MD against Johnson last night, good job the odds on a Froch SD were **** (4/1 i think) cos thats what i was gonna back lol.

Only had a tenner on it, but love when long shots come in regardless of how much i win. When they announced winner by majority decision i was waiting for Johnson to be declared winner being the pesimistic prick i am!

Wow. Good bet, what made you bet on a MD?

was looking to bet on a split decision for Froch as i knew Johnson would give him a good test, and Johnson has a habit in being involved in close decisions. But the odds were **** compared to a MD so just stuck 10 quid on it on the off chance it happened. Pure luck basically, looked like good value.
I did something similar for Ward v AA and it didnt come of (Ward TD, think it was 25/1, in case Wards headbutts cut Abraham)

Also had Froch to win by decision (any kind) in an accumulator (with Sturm decision over Macklin and Wlad stoppage over Haye). 8/1 overall. Ive got a month to see if that comes in. At the risk of jinxing; myself getting evens for Sturm beating Macklin on points in Germany seems to good to be true

Thats very kind but don't worry about it Jab, I never really understood the points system anyway.

I haven't defected to another site over the last few months, life just got a bit busy.

I'm curious as to why Sonnyboyx was banned, did someone push him too far on the ever sensitive subject of Lennox Lewis?

How the hell did you get those odds?! I would have put my house on that (as much as I wanted Harrison to win at the time).

Rarely bet on boxing though because whenever I bet, the person who shouldn't win does. Last example of it I can think of is the guy who won the Prizefighter series nicknamed 'The Upsetter' or something, he did exactly that.

Pretty much. He couldn't handle posting about Lewis without insulting and flaming other posters so I barred him from Lewis discussions. I guess that pissed him off more because he just kept flaming in the section and me personally in PM's. I warned him to stop and told him what was going to happen if he didn't and his response was "Thats fine, do it" or something along those lines. He's pulling the same crap at another forum I post at and has already been labeled a troll after only a month or so. He has decent knowledge on some things, but he simply doesn't know how to deal with people who don't share the same opinion.. Oh well.

Agreed, he does have knowledge and from what i hear a decent fight film collection. Oh well!

I've got a gut feeling that he might have betted a a fair bit on Lewis to stop McCall in their first fight, he has indicated that he was a Lewis fan prior to that fight which he watched from ringside. The embarrassment and manner of Lewis's defeat may well have tarnished his opinion of Lewis forever. Just a theory!

I exposed his lie about being ringside for Lewis McCall on another site. He has claimed numerous times Lewis was hurt by a body punch by McCall and was visibly wincing in pain walking back to his corner and between rounds so I decided to call him on his BS. Watch from 2:45 (the punch comes at precisely 2:52) till 4:25 of this video and tell me if you see Lewis grimacing in pain after the punch, on his way to the corner or in between the round? Now for anyone who has sat ringside for a fight before you know it is difficult to see his face between rounds let alone his expression because he is surrounded by cornermen and sometimes the ringside doctor. When I brought this up he had no answer except "I was there, you wasn't". Well, the camera doesn't lie! Whats really funny is he is trying to claim on that other site that he doesn't hate Lewis and is actually a fan! He became a joke over there in less than 2 months after getting owned in threads about Lewis, Langford, Greb and others and has since been reduced to trolling and flaming myself and others.
