...to your mind, has the best chance of beating any of the following linear Heavyweight champions?
As we know, it's a time-honoured tradition for ambitious LHW's to tackle the biggest game in the sport, in a courageous & dicey effort to capture a big-name HW quarry. Most have failed, a few have succeeded, some have gone close, others have been humiliated.
Which, if any, LHW heroes would you give a decent shot at beating these former HW champions?
Jack Dempsey (1918-22)
Joe Frazier (1968-71)
Evander Holyfield (1989-92)
Ingemar Johansson (1957-59)
Rocky Marciano (1951-54)
Floyd Patterson (1957-61)
I tried to go with smaller, or more limited, HW champions, for obvious reasons. Any takers?
