I think he may have been the hardest hitter. I used to have a Ring Magazine explaining how he would throw his right hand. But I have lost it. But I still remember it some what, he would actually miss with a big left hook on purpose twisting his body to the limit clock wise. And then uncoil his right with all his force, this apparently was a common set up he used to unload his right hand.

definitely in the top 10. top 5 too. I think Jimmy Wilde might be one of the few guys i would rate ahead of him. And the guys ahead of him in power is a short list.

The way that I've always percieved it was that Ketchell was a guy that would just stay on you, doing his opponents in with many punches rather than one single blow. Yeah, yeah, he knocked out a Jack Johnson tooth or two, probably the best shot that he'd ever thrown. I say Ketchell was quantity over power quality................Rockin'
