Speaking of him, how about Thomas Hearns, who knocked him out with that brutal right hand he always threw with bad intentions?

Actually, Hearns was one of the guys I was thinking didn't fit the description. He didn't need to throw everything into a punch to knock guys out. He was throwing to knockout, but he wasn't throwing crazy, Sugar Shane haymakers.

He was more of a calculated knock out artist then a wild man, Cuevas didn't really have any boxing skills just a lot of aggression and monster power, he only went out there to knock out the opponent and break as many bones as he could.

I could make a decent size list, but the ones who seem the most obvious are Tyson, Dempsey, and Marciano. A young Foreman often threw himself off balance trying to get more on the punch.
