Not even competitive decisions if he doesn't KO them tbh. Those guys would be made fools of, especially Rahman and Williams...they were pathetic.

Lewis got ****y and caught, that fight was not the Lennox Lewis that we all know. Hence why in the rematch he nearly ripped Rahman's face the rest of the way off...
They werent bums at all. To say they had no talent is very disrespectful.

Chagaev in his prime had power and was KOing guys, Wlad ruined him though illness and inactivity have contributed. Todays Chagaev is shot and a shadow of his former self. Rahman again has monster power he KOed Lewis with one punch. Danny Williams has bags of heart you should see his fight Vs Vitali hardly pathetic is it. Ibragimov won a silver medal at the olympics. Juan Carlos Gomez had a great amateur carrear he best Tarver and won a belt at crusierweight before moving up.

Lewis was KOed plain and simply.

Ali would win wide UDs but the Klits would be competitive.

William's was pathetic, he was almost KOed in the first round by a near 40 year old Mike Tyson, and would have went in the 2nd or 3rd if Mike hadn't blown out his knee....you think fighting one armed is hard, wait till your fighting one legged!

Rahman had barely above average power, and was slow as piss to boot. It doesn't take anything to KO Lewis if you get a clean shot.

They are pathetic and have no redeeming qualities or skills...When compared to Ali and the greats...

Yeah, no ****. It's a sad commentary on the state of the division that guys like that are even considered "contenders".

And what does their religion have anything to do with the price of eggs. I could care less what idols they worshiped, they weren't top quality fighters by any stretch of the imagination. They could be Satan worshipers for all I care it isn't relivent to their quality (or lack there of) as fighters.

Got a point on the religion part, but if the guy wants to respect them for stuff like that and their live styles I gotta respect that...But they TOTALLY ****** as fighters XD

Shavers is one of very few men that I consider one of the "Gods of war", along with Foreman, form that era. They may even be the only two from the 70s

They had the die or win mentality along with super human physical attributes. I remember that after the Lyle fight Foreman said(Right after it, a fight that a normal man would have been maimed in) he will die before he lost again, and his corner screamed out HEART OF A LION!!! And George said he liked that, and would embroider it on his trunks from then on out.

Of course Shavers kept swinging at Holmes, even though his white trunks had turned a light red color from all of the blood pouring out of his face like it was nothing. And the fight with Lyle, back and forth until Lyle drilled him in the 5th and broke his jaw. And Williams...so on and so forth.

Probably though, in my book, the king of them all was Mcclellan. Fighting Nigel Benn to the death(Litterally) And saying, as he walked back from the gym during training for that bout, and walked passed a statue of one of the fallen fighters in that area, that it was better for a fighter to die than be knocked down O.o

Mcclellan, IMHO, was the most talented fighter who ever lived physically. He is regarded as the hardest puncher in middleweight history(Along with Jackson), had probably the best chin in middleweight history(Walked through Jackson's flush power shots as though they were but wind) Had fantastic food movement, great hand speed, awesome combinations, a reach as long as George Foreman's(No ****!) and 15 round nonstop stamina.

20 first round Knockouts, 29 knockouts, 31 wins....not much arguing with that. Virtually unstoppable in his prime. I cannot seriously pick one fighter to stand against him, deffinently not Jones, and we never even got to see the best of him.

Yeah, I know what your saying.....my point was that their religion has **** all to do with boxing. He can like who he likes for whatever reason but lets keep discussions about how good or bad a fighter is on things that actually MATTER to the subject!

Very few heavyweights could beat Muhammad Ali. I don't think the big guys would be able to do it. They are far too slow for a bouncing, jabbing, dancing, Cleveland Williams/Foley Ali. Power doesn't really matter when you take into consideration Ali's chin and toughness even at a later age. I think Ali UDs Klitschkos and Lennox Lewis. The famed oldtime fight manager from the early 1900s Dan Morgan had an interesting view. He said, when speaking of Jess Willard and Primo Carnera:

"Anybody over 220 pounds can't fight. Big fighters are like Saint Bernards. Growing up with that size they become gentle, and are slow. Jess and Carnera were marketed for their size but had no skill as fighters."

An interesting view from old Dan. While we know that big fighters are indeed capable of fighting, slower fighters are better all around, having a balance of speed, power, and aggression. I think it is true for Ali. Not a stronger puncher, but superior boxing ability, speed, and the killer instinct would be too much for the big dudes.

Ali was on another level to those guys though. I see Ali outboxing them to wide but competitive unanimous decisons.

Lewis got KTFO by Rahman. I think Ali would take Lewis to school before knocking him out.
What has their faith got to do with this?

They are HW's who happen to be ******.

Ali pwns all three btw. KO's Lennox, and stops both Klits.

The point is that Chageav, Rahma, Imbragimov, and Williams are not elite fighters

The klits, not facing anything like Ali, would get schooled imo.
