I know we're not talking about the length of the AM carreers, but becoming a pro as good as he was is quite a feature with so little AM experience

I haven't personnaly checked to be honest, but I was watching Liston-Machen yesterday, and the TV commentator said Machen only had 3 am bouts before turning pro
