Is Ken Norton stylistically the worst matchup for either Klitschko?

His style was built to completely neutralize what Wlad and Vitali do, which is keep their opponents at range and pepper them with jabs and straights. Ken Norton was able to get past Ali and Holmes, I doubt he'd have much a problem doing the same to Wlad or Vitali, who's jabs aren't half as quick as Ali or Holmes.

Norton was also in incredible shape, going 15 rounds easy and was a strong guy, so while he would face a disadvantage being smaller, he would not be bullied inside like fighters today are, and would not be worn down over 12 rounds by their size. Once he did get inside, he would have the clear advantage.

Is there a worse match up for the Klitschkos then Ken Norton?

Kenny was poison for any slick orthodox heavyweight without a Foreman/Shavers/Cooneyesque punch. Kenny did not have an amazing chin.

Yes stylistically he causes them serious trouble. But I think that they punch with enough authority to in turn cause issues for Norton.

It wouldn't even be close. He outboxes Vitali and knocks Wlad out.

I'd respect either for taking a fight with anything like a prime Bowe.

Simply....NO. Tyson is stylistically their worst matchup, particularly for Wlad.

I don't think so. One punch from Tyson could put Wlad on his ass, but even at his absolute best bigger guys could clinch Tyson easier than they should have been able to. Vitali I think beats Tyson.

Yes, Gonzales was Rid**** Bowe's last really great performance. Gonzales was no turnip, he had a decent amateur pedigree....but Bowe was terrific.

The third Holyfield result was good but, neither man was amazing that night......and while Bowe vs Golota 2 was a terrific fight for the fans, that wasn't the Bowe I knew fighting that night.

As for whether Bowe knocks out Vitali, its just a personal rule that I wont predict knockouts against guys that it has never happened to. For all Vitali's faults......I rate that guy's chin. I dont doubt Bowe could knock anyone out, he was very heavy handed, so its not beyond the realms of possibility.

I've long thought that Ali would be beaten by Valuev!!!!!!!!!!!!?!!

Come on! The fact that a shell of Evander Holyfield pushing 50 is fringe top 10 surely shows how poor the division is right now. To think that Ali, Frazier and Norton would be punching bags for the likes of Adamek, Valuev, Povetkin, Chambers is just comedy.....
