Keep race baiting and you're going to find yourself banned from this section.

The style employed by alot of black fighters today utilizes their speed more than they did in previous generations so today's black fighters are better and harder to beat.

So... black fighters should schedule fewer fights against Mexicans, that way they can slow down?

Race baiting? Race is relevant to the convo just like race would be relevant to the discussion between the differences of the track and field athletes between 1905 and 2005. If you want to ban me so be it but don't falsely accuse me.

Funny how people clearly haven't watched much Ray Leonard. Especially considering he fought flat-footed most of his career and only turned "dancer" when he came back from his first retirement to fight Hagler

                  Race is irrelivant. Period.

The article- the thread- was not about race, nor was it really about any evolution or devolution in athleticism over time. The thesis here is that, while raw ability may or may not have increased since the "old days", the number of people who are actually learned in the art, the science, of fighting has decreased dramatically.

I read it. It was written by somebody who's intellegence doesn't begin to impress me. Maybe it's his subjectivity that lowers his IQ.
