That's because Mexicans changed the face of boxing. White fighters couldn't do that. The style employed by alot of black fighters today utilizes their speed more than they did in previous generations so today's black fighters are better and harder to beat.

Funny how people clearly haven't watched much Ray Leonard. Especially considering he fought flat-footed most of his career and only turned "dancer" when he came back from his first retirement to fight Hagler
