An argument can be made for him being greater, personally don't think so.

greb was nothing more then a whirling windmill coming at you.

an inshape willie meehan with better defense and foot work.

Definatly not greater then sugar ray robinson.

Id imagine he was much more than that my friend judging by the comp he beat. Even if this were true I, just my opinion, judge fighters on how effective they were through out their career. Fighters don't have to look good to be great, they only have to win.

allright maybe more of an inshape john L sullivan with out the ko power. i dont see him being a dancer and a boxer i more so imagine him flailing about on the inside and defending on the outside with more then likely some faints and a short right to get on the inside. with the goal being a win on points not by outboxing but by pure work rate. like calhazge

im not saying hes crap im not even saying willie meehans crap, he did beat and tie a dempsey, id rank greb at like 3 on the p4p ladder as all the resumes are near equals robinson and langford seemed to have better boxing and knock out skills placing them above him plus the style greb used in my opinion is suited for a younger person and a style that would not last him through the years....not that he needed to amass any more of a record then what he had just that after 35 ish his style just wouldnt be as effective anymore.
