    Middleweight:
    Charley Burley
    Eddie Booker
    Dave Sands
    Bennie Briscoe
    Sam Langford
    Mike Gibbons
    Holman Williams
    Les Darcy
    **** Turpin
    Harold Green

Had a hard time filling in last 2 spots, wouldn't argue against them changing.

You can include Jack Chase here. Beat Booker and Moore (at middle both) and was California State Middleweight title holder.Avoided like most black fighters of his era. Fought at welter too and was a member of the black murderers row.

**** Turpin?... by far the weaker of the brothers and not really a world-class fighter although very good domestically

I know, he was just a kind of random pick which is why I said I've got no problem changing him. Had to fill the last spots with someone.

Yea...also I believe it is good if you include Joey Archer he was a top contender in the 1960's and a very good fighter.

Personally I believe Burley's not winning the title was a great tragedy he was rated in the welterweight to middle weight for a total of 100 months.

I have to rank Darcy as the no. One,.... but only if you deny that his Middleweight Title wasn't a title,........ which it was....... Remember Burley wasn't treated to well in America,, but he was treated like a king there compared to Darcy........... He still suffers from U.S. bias.
