            Hagler sat at 158 - 159 his whole career lol.

            I'm sure he was a welter or junior middle in the amatuers and when he went pro he just moved up weight to suit him and some folks were like "Wow I thought he was small for the 147Ibs division."

              Hagler was actually a national champion in the amateurs at 165 lbs. He may have fought amateur at Welter or Junior middle also, but not sure about that.

              Yeah, he was definitely small for his weight class though. He stayed in shape all year round and just wasn't that big naturally. Never had to worry about draining himself.

                  and yeah, Hagler, he could have easily put on weight to as he was slim and strong as *** though.
