Sven Ottke, WBA Super Middleweight Champ from the mid-1990s, was pretty awful. Didn't dare fight outside of Germany as he needed the ref and the judges to get him the results. Shameful that someone like him got to retire thinking of themselves as a long-reigning world champion.

Well I've heard because of his overall career in general not being that great and him not being considered an ATG heavyweight. Is this not true then? Was he considered a skilled or tough heavyweight? I've never seen him ranked highly on anyone's list.

No, he certainly isn't an ATG, but there's a wide gap between ATG and the very worst heavyweight champ. Rahman was certainly worse than Buster.

Ah I see. But then isn't Douglas considered one of the worst since he was not able to sustain the skills he showed against Tyson, didn't stay in shape and looked horrible against Holyfield in the eyes of many?
