Do you think Liles could of beat Toney

If Toney came in in tip top shape then I'd favor him to win but if Toney came in in bad shape Liles would've beaten him. Liles would've been a tough fight for him at his best. Long rangy southpaws who counterpunch very well are basically tough fights for anybody.

True. He almost got ktfo by Reggie Johnson. I would say Toney never really figured out the southpaw puzzle until the Jason Robinson fight

I would have to favour Toney as well, Liles seemed to show a particular vunerability to Littles right hand leads during their second fight. I could see Toney being able to land a lot of counter rights on Liles. Although Liles was also able to figure Littles out, which is how he finished him with that right hand counter of his own.

I think Liles could beat Froch, Kessler and maybe Taylor, who was at best a 6 round fighter. I think he would have a hard time with Abraham, Ward and especially a focussed Dirrel. Haven't watched much of Bute, so I cant really comment on that match up

You think so? The way to beat Abraham is to basically outwork him and punch around his guard. Im not sure if Liles was ever busy enough to do that. Then again I havent seen many of Liles's fights

I feel liles height and reach would play a big factor and that would have abraham reaching and lunging to try to catch him while doing this liles would land many effective counters.a late ko by abraham is also possible but i like frankie by decision
