I bet Rocky could be cut at perhaps 195 at best, even that's pushing it. He wouldn't even dehydrate to make 186 (his prime weight).

I know size isn't everything. Rocky fought some bigger men, Rocky was a tough dude. I could see him going 9 with Frazier and getting stopped, or even managing to go the distance (I see him losing wide though, and getting dropped in the process).

Against Tyson I think the power is pretty much the difference. The power, speed and Rocky's poor defense. He would get caught and it simply wouldn't go into the late rounds for him to make a mark.

My picks would be Frazier by TKO in 9
And Tyson by TKO in 2

I think Rocky had to much heart and trained too hard to actually get sparked out cold. He might be on ***** street but I'm sure he'd get up.
if rocky were to put on more muscle hed put it where he allready had more then most at the same weight, in his thighs and calfs. hed also probly bulk up in his back and core not his pecs and biceps

where ever he would put the extra 30 lbs it would be molded into useful muscle through hours of bag work and jogging.

And was ALOT stronger than Marciano. And was the hardest puncher in ring history!!

Who got knocked down by light punching 185lb Walcott.
I think falling down is one of marcianos better traits. in almost all of his fights he never really takes more then a lead punch. hes never caught in a barage of punches where he dosnt know what to do and just decides to stand there and take it like some people.... fraizer *cough cough* fraizer.... *cough*

i dont know if marciano would be able to take foremans punches with out being kd but he wouldnt get back up and start guarding his waist, and he sure as hell wouldnt just stand in the corner as he gets beaten sensless while guarding his waist.

        Power: Marciano
        Speed: Tyson
        Reach: Tyson
        Skillset: Marciano
        Intangibles: Marciano
I can't see how 185 lb Marciano, who had less hand speed than Tyson punches harder than Tyson. Tyson's arms were bigger than Marciano's and his punches were faster i.e he hit harder

As for skill set:Marciano? You have to be joking with this. Marciano had a crouch defence and threw only left and right hooks
Tyson had: jabs, hooks, uppercuts, peek a boo defence
In terms of skillset, Tyson is much higher than Rocky, who at best was a crude slugger

Like who (with the exception of glass chinned Bruno)?

If Marciano could get dropped by guys who weighed around 190, just imagine what bombs from a guys who outweighed them by 30 lbs would do to him

I admire Rocky Marciano's heart and conditioning so I will not say that he gets completely blown out like Tyson's earlier victims but I don't see how he can win.

I think what is happening here is people are strongly influenced how Tyson ended his career and how Marciano ended his. This is no fault of Marciano's just something I think people do. Because Tyson was annihilated by Lewis and others towards the end of his career people judge him harshly. Even the Douglass fight does not represent the real Mike Tyson. Now before you fly off the handle and say I am making excuses for Mike please continue reading. It's really simple when Tyson was in the Catskills under Cus, Atlas and finally Rooney he was different fighter than he was without them. He had excellent footwork, was extremely difficult to hit and had blazing combinations. In fact I think if you go on you tube now you can find a clip of Tyson on the bag and his punches being recorded and boxing experts stating he has the fatest punches in heavyweight history. And yet people call him a bum. Seriously.

I really don't see how Marciano could have dealt with these attributes. Despite his abilities, I am not doubting what Marciano would bring to the table. Just think the Catskill version of Tyson is a lot more effective than people give him credit for.

As for Frazier I think Marciano's primary advantage is that Joe was such a slow starter Marciano might be able to take advantage of this. I see this fight being closer than with Tyson but I see Joe emerging on top. Not neccessarily a knockout as Marciano's ability to get of the canvas and emerge victorious has been duly noted. But I don't see him winning on decision. Now as for the knockout, well this is always a possibility for anyone but I don't think it would have been as easy as many have said. First off Frazier only gets knocked out by Foreman. Arguably the hardest puncher in boxing history. So I don't see how that translates into him having a glass jaw. His only other loss was to Ali. And I don't really think I need to discuss him. I don't think Frazier has anything to be ashamed of.
