haha, sanchez outclasses him, and that's not even being biased. we're talking about a 23 year old kid who whooped gomez when he was undefeated to a manny who went to a draw with jmm and a year later was outpointed by morales. you can't say prime for prime because sanchez was nowhere near his prime when he died and manny surely wasn't his best at 126.

lol at people acting like losing to JMM and Morales is something to be ashamed of. Pacquiao vs Sanchez is a 50/50 fight

I find it so bizarre that Pac is suddenly whipping guys at weights where he just wasn't good enough to beat the very best guys. Don't get me wrong, his overall achievements are staggering and even at 126 he was a great fighter, but at 126 against a prime Sanchez? Come on....
When we talk about what beats Pac, we say highly skilled counter punchers who can take a good shot, fight as well as box, aren't afraid to mix it up when needed etc etc. Sanchez was as good at anyone has ever been at 1) adjusting throughout a fight 2) brawling when needed and being a slick, highly skilled boxer/puncher 3) his chin, stamina, heart are equal or greater than anyone Pac has ever fought.
A past it Morales and prime Marquez at 130/126 were not as good as Sanchez and they both fought very, very similar and had the same skills that Sanchez possessed in abundance to get a draw and beat Pac with.
Maybe you guys that think Pac wins this need to go watch Sanchez in action again against undefeated HOFers Nelson, and Gomez? Sanchez was a genuinely rare breed of fighter to possess the mix of heart, chin, stamina plus great skill, cool head and adjustment of fighters today like Mayweather and Marquez.
At 126, there are very, very few fighters that could beat him. Pacquiao wasn't one of them and didn't possess the necessary style most importantly. Not to say it wouldn't have been a great, difficult fight.

Sanchez has the skill, the chin and the sledgehammer right hand you need to beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao runs face first into a lot of Sanchez's heaviest artillery. I don't think he gets stopped, but I think he loses this one and it looks a lot more like the Morales fight than the Marquez fights.

I really don't think Pac can take on Sanchez. Sanchez has the credentials and the resume to show his worth. And he didn't even get to finish his whole career. Now THAT shows how good he was. But I think that's clear.
50/50 fight? Don't disrespect the guy. Sanchez was the real deal as far as I'm concerned and would've stopped pac late like he did Nelson.
