Joe Frazier may have been the third best heavyweight of his era, but he's not certainly not a top three, five and arguably not top ten material.

Leeching and cherry picking doesn't make you a true all time great.

its holyfield fought all top competitors in his day bowe 3x tyson 2x lewis 2x,he was undisputed champ and of course the only 4x heavyweight champ in an era when big heavyweghts ruled he went toe 2 toe with them and never gave an inch he also was the lightest heavyweight since ali to win the title beating douglas at 14st12 or suming until jones beat ruiz.

Wow is this another troll on BS ?, **** who would've known.

The most common choices for #1 and #2 are Ali and Louis and pretty strong arguments can be made for them 2 being above the majority of other heavyweights. For #3 though there is a much wider selection of people who can be put there as evident from the poll, makes for a better debate as well because there are more people to discuss.

When you're fighting for your supper you tend not to quibble over the niceties.

Yeah, no kidding.....we didn't used to get many here in Boxing History but the past few months we've been getting quite a few

PS. This is why there's a movement afoot to have GreatA made the moderator of the Boxing History forum.

Big George Foreman. Won the Title at age 24... and at age 45. Has one of the highest knockout percentages of all time.

I favor Holmes but I tend to fluctuate between him Foreman and Johnson depending on my mood.
