  • Klitschkos... NEVER DUCKED ANYONE IN THERE CAREERS

im talking like ducking a legitimate contender, not no shannon briggs... but someone who is a top contender... i really dont see that they ducked anybody either 1 of them... Wlad and Vitali fight everybody who is a top guy.... if you can think of anybody that they "possibly ducked" in there career. then who is it....

James Toney is the only one that you could really make somewhat of a case about.

the thing about him is... when he started to call out wlad.. he was already facing bums and wasn't as a contender as he was along time ago... he lost to samuel peters twice..... etc.... if james toney would of called wlad out 8-9 years ago it would of been a different story.... but he started to late...

      his last 2 fights

a split decision with some dude named Fres Oquendo

and knocked out a bum in 2 rounds...

hes not even a top heavyweight anymore... there is still alot of good meat in front him, and better than him currently.. Toney is a beast, but he called Wlad out to late in his career, where he wasn't as good as he was before

Well for one it's impossible to know for sure unless the Boxer himself admits to it, otherwise we're just guessing if they really are avoiding a certain fighter in fear of losing. For example you could make a case that Vitali has ducked Rahman several times, but I doubt anyone really believes that he really ducked him.

Also, I would not give the Klitschko's that much credit for this as opposed to someone like Holyfield. They haven't had any serious threats in their division for many years now.

Not much of an achievement in for this era tbh.
Their careers aren't over yet anyway.

yeah... vitali didn't duck rahman.... he showed his injuries, to the boxing fans, and proved that he was legit injured, he showed his x-rays etc..

unlike haye, who doesn't have any proof of his injuries..

You can make an argument that Vitali ducked Rahman, but if you want to call it injury, whatever...

              Wladimir ducked:

              Hasim Rahman 2005
              Oleg Maskaev 2006-2008
              Shannon Briggs 2006-2007
              Nikolai Valuev 2005-2007

But above all else, from 2006-2008 when Vitali was in retirement, Wladimr never faced the number 2 guy in the sport. Wladimir has never touched the official WBC or WBA belts which are the oldest off them all, and has never actually been Lineal Heavyweight champion.

Lennox Lewis was the last official Heavyweight champion, and the crown has been Vacant for the last 7 years.

Really, has there been anyone worth ducking?

Wlad ducked a rematch with Sanders.. he should have avenged his loss but instead he let his big brother do it ..

The only name (and you may laugh) that they didn't fight who I would've liked to have seen at some point in the last decade was John Ruiz.
