I think Duran might present Toney some problems if he comes in with the same gameplan that he did against Hagler, fighting more defensive-minded. Toney was never the best at chasing his foes.
alright thanks people, thanks to all of you guys, i'm having a better view on both fighters.

This is why I was hesitant to pick Toney here. He had a lot of trouble making 160. But I still would give him the edge over Duran at 160.

but then again, i dont know Duran so well, and i might be totally wrong, so enlighten me boxing historians of boxing scene, how would this fight go?

I think it would depend on which version of Toney would show up. The best Toney at 160 would beat the best Duran at 160 IMO, too big and a little bit too slick for the 160 pound version of Duran but if Toney comes in unfocused and out of shape he might have run out of gas after a few rounds and Duran would have had the smarts to capitalize
