I'd also like to know why Lennox gets so much **** for beating a prime David Tua. But...meh.
Of course you, your boyfriend Hellboy/Zod, and idiots like Jim Jeffries and Clegg will all feel the same way. You're euro nut huggers who don't know anything about boxing.

If you spent less time getting plowed by your boyfriend Zod while looking up at your Lennox Lewis cutout, and more time trying to understand the sport, you wouldn't be such an idiot, but that will never happen.

Good point, I'm tired of arguing with Trolls as well

People hate Lewis for many reasons, one of them is that he beat Tyson. I'll be honest and I will admit I wanted Tyson to win that fight, but I'm not going to hate on a guy for 7 years because he did his job. Someone had to win that fight and it happened to be the guy who actually trained who won, as it should be.

Can't comment on the Tua fight, I've never watched it.

It's sad that your idol gave people so many reasons to hate him for the way he performed in the ring.

Some people invest WAY too much emotion in fighters. There's an old saying: "Never fall in love with a fighter because he'll always break your heart". There's a lot of truth in that saying. I personally don't get very emotionally attached to fighters for a number of reasons. On principle my emotional attachment is to the sport of boxing itself and I don't believe any fighter is bigger than the sport: The sport of boxing 1st, particular fighters 2nd. I also find that allowing emotional considerations for fighters clouds the judgement and makes it impossible to be objective when evaluating them which does a diservice to the sport in my view.

While by nature I'm a VERY emotional person, I'm also aware of the fact and take a conscious decision not to allow it to cloud my judgement when evaluating fighters. It means I have to work a lot harder than most when being objective, but at least I put in the work. The problem is that most people with emotional attachments to fighters won't put in ANY work to be objective. Ultimately they are fans (or haters) of particular fighters 1st, and fans of the sport of boxing 2nd.

Think many do tend to hate the fighter who beats their favourite.
I was a massive Buchanan fan and went ape **** when Duran put his balls by his tonsils. But on reflection Duran was the better fighter that night and I became a huge fan of his.
On a similar vein I do have a serious weakness re Ezzard Charles.
Whilst I appreciate that he was a fantastic fighter I had the privilege of seeing him fight in London once and he was absolutely dreadful. He was getting on a bit and I didn't realise at the time he was an ill man. But to this day even though I know I am unfair and irrational I put my hands up that I always knock Charles down a good 5 places on my
                  p4p list because of it!
That's my confession for the day

A reasonable person shouldn't have trouble supporting a fighter while remaining objective. The two are not mutually exclusive.

For example, I'm a massive Manny Pacquiao fan. He's my favourite fighter by a mile and I hope he kicks Mayweather's ass. But if you ask me who a favourite would be, I'd say put your money on 'Money'...and if the c*nt wins, good on him. He'll go up even further in my estimation (as a boxer).

I know some people have formed an opinion of Lennox Lewis early in their lives so they found a way to compound that opinion of him, no matter what he did. Blind hate makes you look idiotic...and weak. As I said, it's difficult for an idiot to remain objective but for most reasonable people it's no trouble.
