Lennox Lewis tried to offer David Tua step-a-side money but David Tua said "NO THANKS" and went ahead with the bigger payday and the guaranteed title shot.
This is what I thought I read you post before but I couldn't remember the exact details and it confirms exactly what I already knew and was trying to say in the last thread.
Lennox Lewis is a garbage over rated phony champion.
Thanks sonny.

As far as legitimacy, I don't think the win can be questioned, as I agree both men were about the same age, though it was clear Mike was far gone and Lewis was still in near peak form. That's just people always thinking of Tyson for what he once was and refusing to accept what he had become. Easier to say Mike would thrash him in younger days than to just give Lennox his due.

Now Lewis's handlers say they will guarantee Tyson $45 million to fight Lewis, but Tyson seems more interested in fighting Evander Holyfield, a former champion. If Tyson bypasses Lewis, the W.B.C. will strip Tyson of his title for refusing to fight its top-ranked contender.

Same article, they are offering Tyson a fight, but he wanted to fight Holyfield instead. How can you read this stuff and conclude something totally different?

In other words 3M + 13.5M for waiting a few months.
