Rid**** Bowe vs Joe Louis

This would be a brutal, bruising fight where Louis would be on the canvas in the second and third round. By the 4th round Joe starts finding his mark repeatedly. Louis has Bowe down in the 5th but can't finish him before the bell rings ending the round. At the start of the 6th Bowe comes out looking to brawl but thev Brown Bombers punches are faster and more accurate dropping Bowe again. Big Daddy is back on his feet at 8 but Louis moves in for the kill and srarts thrashing Bowe along the ropes till the ref jumps in and calls a halt the the action midway thru the 6th round Louis wins by tko.

also what was you're reasoning behing Bowe beating Lewis??

other than that i agree with your set up
I think Wlad will get to Nortons chin Before Ken can get to his. I bwouldn't really argue about it going the other way though

As far as Lewis and Bowe....I rate Lewis higher all time, but I've always believed Bowe was the better fighter at his peak. Jmo.

It takes a little effort to actually go through all this and pick the winners. Funny thing is, you could throw the names back in a hat, pick again and you could have two different fighters in the finals. I really enjoyed this and think this thread could explode when people start questioning each other on why they had this one beating that one. EXCELLENT THREAD!!

Some random thoughts:

- The bottom right regional is stacked.

- Seeing some of the names on this list makes you really see how bad the HW division has fallen recently.

yeah, i see what you mean about it being stacked, but it wasn't intentional.

Here is my finished bracket. I couldn't decide between Patterson and Charles, but I eventually gave into Charles.

I was wanting to eventually do one for the Middleweights and Welterweights, but was going to see how this one took off before I put in the work. There just so happened to only be about 67 Heavyweight champs and title holders, so I only had to leave off a few like Tony Tucker, and Herbie Hide. Middle and Welter have hundreds, so it will take alot of time to sort them out.

Lol, I had the same problem. I actually flipped a coin.

I hope more people actually do the brackets, but I know a few don't want to open themselves up to any criticism with their picks. Plus its a little time consuming, at least for my slow typing ass. Like you said, its just for fun, and it was.
