Really? It's been established that blooddoping was widely used particularly among cyclists and track & fielders.
I did a quick google and among the general findings was this:
In 2002, it's safe to say, the old, Count Dracula method of blood doping that tarnished the 1984 Olympic Games has vanished from sport. Don't thank sports officials; thank biotechnology. There's no need anymore to draw athletes' blood, separate oxygen-carrying red cells, and re-inject them; now, pill popping produces the same results.Comment

I remember in the two Tyson fights Holyfields traps were a ridiculous size, its a pretty weird muscle for a boxer to enhance!
As for Holyfield doing steroids, the rumour has been going around for a long time. The chances are that its true, but there has never been any solid proof. Would be a bad thing for boxing if it did all come out tho!Comment

I have every Holyfield fight on DVD and some of the amateur fights and he definitely GRADUALLY increased in size. The fact that he also went Bald in an early age also can point to steroids since its known that it can cause hair loss. In addition, he had an heart ailment which can point to PED since its known that it causes tissue damage.
The two Qawi fights i don't think he was on the juice. I just think the first fight was a classic 15 round slugfest. Later on, when he moved to HW division he got a new trainer. One of the guys looked bigger than the incredible hulk. Sorry for not recalling the name, but that dude looked abnormally big. It was probably before the Bert Cooper Fight? If the trainer is taking the stuff there is no doubt he can pass over the info to EVH and how to obtain it?
As another poster mentioned the whole "Evan Fields" scandal. There were documents that contained that name came up under a Federal Probe of a Pharmarcy in i think GA or AL that had was known to supply athletes with PED's. Even the address and biographical info of the Evan Fields character was too similar to Holyfield to be a mere coincidence.
In Fairness, during the Tyson fight he was made to take steriod testing by the Tyson camp since they suspected he was on it, and since the fight was not declared a no contest its safe to say that on atleast that SPECIFIC fight he was not on any peds.
I am being careful with the info since a certain Troll will lurk back and call me a liar. He has no balls to put info up like this since he opens himself for criticism; he prefers to let others put out the info and than he can cherry pick what to troll about in order to get emotional responses.Comment

i can't honestly say i care. people have always done whatever it takes to win. holyfield would walk through hell to win in the ring, so i wouldn't be surprised if he broke the rules outside of it.
there's no proof, but it's possible jack dempsey had loaded gloves against willard. roids are hardly the first instance of fighters wanting an edge.Comment
