Not a war hero but I think it would be wrong not to mention him as he recently passed, Arthur Mercante served in the Navy in WW2 and Gene Tunney was his Commanding Officer.

I was about to disagree with you here about Tunney being in the navy till I thought better of it and checked it out. Thats the beauty of these boards, you can learn something new every day. Thanks for posting that N.

Very recently, and although it's not as great as war heroics, Nate Campbell stopped a couple of dudes from robbing someone or something. I can't remember what it was, just that he chased some guys and got 'em.

I believe Julian Letterlough was shot in the back by some guys he had stopped from doing a robbery or something. That's how he died.

Well, that's wierd none of the articles talk about it but at the time of the murder Teddy Atlas reported on FNF that the shooting had to do with Letterlough stopping a crime or purse snatching and that it was a retaliation.
