For me these 2 are the biggest punching middleweights of all time
Who Punched Harder Ketchell or Mccellan?

Ketchel especially for his size. It has to be taken into account that Ketchel, a natural 160 lb fighter, often took on opponents far bigger than him, while McCellan walked around at 190-200 lbs and drained himself down to 160 to fight smaller opponents. McClellan had fine punching technique & accuracy in his right hand, which could turn the opponent's lights out with a single hit, but Ketchel had the bludgeoning force of a smaller George Foreman in both fists and in each punch he threw, whether it be jab, right hand, a hook or an uppercut. -
i can't say for sure, but mclellan never knocked down jack johnson. quite the accomplishment for a middleweight.Comment

Both massive punchers.. Ketchell fought the bigger men, but McClellan got them out of there quicker.. Difficult to say with Gerald's career coming to an end so suddenly, so i'll have to go with Ketchell on the better resume of KO's..Comment

I would rate Jackson just below McClellan based on his two losses to Gerald. For me I have Ketchel ahead. Jackson was a beast, but I just don't see the big wins for him at 160 in spite of his great ko percentage at that weight. My opinion only.Comment
