I'm not saying it was OK for me either. However it was a year ago and I won't be doing it again.

sonnyboyx2 has unique opinions, some of which I disagree with but he has a right to his opinion. You can't deny that some of the most pro-longed arguments, mostly about Lennox Lewis, have been started by him, for better or worse.

The nickname isn't anything more than a name I quickly came up with by mixing "The Great" with the first letter of my surname which is "A", thus TheGreatA.

It's all cool. But Sonnybox has really been getting on my nerves with his constant posting of rubbish.

And I to won't be starting no more hate threads........

Did Jim Jacobs' fight collection ever get distributed, or is there still some of it that has never been shown/released publicly?

It's part of ESPN's collection now. Unfortunately they do not show any of the rare fights from what I understand.

I believe Mike Tyson, managed by Jacobs, claimed he saw Dempsey fights that the majority don't know even exist. Dempsey vs Miske was probably included in these.

Here's some posts by poster sonnyboyx2. Argubaly the worst poster on this board. He claims he has watched boxing for 40 years and has 20,000+ fights in his collection, and more than 12,000+ magazines & books.

But yet claims he only heard of the Murders Row a few months ago.

Yes you read right. Roy Jones at number 2? Basilio Number 7? How were Toney, Jones Jr, Basilio, Zale, Cerdan great Middleweights than Monzon, Lamotta, Ketchel, Burley?

He also claims that Lewis ducked Bowe. When it was Bowe who binned his title rather than face Lennox. And he also claimed Lewis ducked John Ruiz.

He also claims that Thomas Hearns would KO Charley Burley in 4 and that he dosen't rate Burley. This is the same Charley Burley who licked Archie Moore and was never stopped.

I could go on, but I have never met poster to post so much rubbish but yet claim to be this big historian, what a load of BS!

Sonny's opinions I find hard not to argue with at times and have often in the past but he is as entitled to his opinion as anyone. He does have a great deal of knowledge of boxing I would sometimes question where he goes with that knowledge but he stimulates some good debates which is the point of these forums.
As long as we can all be civil and give each other a fair hearing we don't have to agree and it would be pretty dull if we did to be honest.

I for one wouldn't bother, if all I was doing was writing, Good Post, Agreed, My thoughts exactly, on every post..
What you have to realize is that Sonny probably has more fight DVD's than he has points on the board, and i'm afraid this is an accurate reflection of his adversities.. But once again, give him his due, he doesn't hesitate in ******** with his reputation to back these wild predictions which is a shame because his overall knowledge is sound.. If he had better judgement on how to rate a fighter, people wouldn't write threads about him.

I agree with 50% of what he says. The other 50% he's probably right more than half the time.

He's certainly not a troll because most of his posts contain a strong element of informative writing.

Personally I reckon he's a little frustrated posting on here with his vast knowledge then getting replies like "NAH U WRONG FLOYD RULZ MOFO! PWNAGE", so he take it out on those of us who don't type in TXT.
