                I'd have to go with Pep at the top. Whitaker, Benitez, Benny Leonard, Maxie Rosenbloom, Duran, all make the list too. Dempsey and Tunney were two of the best HWs defensively. Highly underrated defense. In fact, watch footage of Dempsey's defense and you will see parallels to Whitaker.
